Thank you for taking the time to consider Josh and Bethany Furan as your missionaries to Ireland. I believe you have crossed paths with a wonderful couple that will bear fruit to your account. It is my privilege to give them my highest recommendation and to send them out of the Franklin Road Baptist Church to reach souls. Shortly after becoming the pastor of Franklin Road Baptist Church, I was introduced to the James family and their daughter Bethany. I watched this family serve joyfully, grow spiritually, and attend faithfully through the years. Bethany always exhibited a Christ-like spirit and a heart to serve. Eventually, the Lord led her to West Coast Baptist College where she met Josh Furan. Josh Furan grew up on the mission field as the son of faithful and fruitful missionaries, Matt and Barbara
Furan. In my time of knowing Josh, I have watched the Lord work in His life and build what I consider to be a great man of God. Josh has always displayed Godly character and a desire to do his best for the Lord. I was thankful to have been a part of their pre-marital counseling and their wedding here at Franklin Road Baptist Church.
Shortly after their marriage, the Lord led them to come on our staff as teachers at Franklin Road Christian School. Since the beginning of this process, Josh and Bethany have made it clear that they were called to serve the Lord on the foreign field. Bethany served as an elementary teacher until they had their daughter Macey in June of 2019. Josh has taught and developed our Bible classes in the Christian
school, and now oversees our Reformer’s Unanimous Ministry by leading the Friday night recovery program and Sunday morning class. In every area they have served, they have excelled. Maybe the best thing that can be said about this is family is that they are the type of church members that you do not want to lose. In my experience, the ones who have served the Lord well here will continue to
serve the Lord wherever He leads them. That is exactly what I expect to see from Josh and Bethany Furan. Again, thank you for considering the Furan family. I look forward to seeing how the Lord will use them
as a result of us partnering together with them. May the Lord continue to bless you and use you!
I am recommending to you Josh and Bethany Furan for consideration as partners in the gospel ministry. Josh and Bethany will be ambassadors to Ireland going out under the approval of Baptist
International Missions Incorporated. Josh served with me as an intern in the summer of 2016 here at New Testament Baptist Church. Josh is well grounded in the scripture and is a good preacher and
teacher of the Word. He relates well to all age groups and works in unity as a team player. He is also capable as a personal soul winner and enthusiastically participates in any evangelistic endeavor. His
wife Bethany is a kind and willing helper who will enhance the ministry and be a solid example to the ladies and young girls that they will reach with the gospel. The Furans are sound in doctrine and
conservative in their daily living standards and values. I believe it would be a wise, eternal investment for your church to partner with the Furans. They can be entrusted to preach the gospel, disciple young believers, and plant solid fundamental churches on the mission field.
Greetings! in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. My name is Ryan Villaver. I pastor the Bible Baptist Church in Delano, California. I’m writing you concerning a wise and eternal investment for your church. I am recommending to you Joshua and Bethany Furan as partners in the gospel ministry to the country of Ireland.
For approximately two years, Bro. Joshua had been a great help and blessing to our church as a student intern and member. I have seen him grow in grace and walk with God as he faithfully served as my assistant, song leader, Bible teacher / preacher, and in evangelism. He loves the Lord and people. In his early years until prior to attending college, he served with his parents as missionaries to the country of Sri Lanka. With that experience the Lord allowed him to have, I am looking forward to see what great things He will do through them in Ireland. Please prayerfully consider to support and having a part in what God will be doing in Ireland through the Furans.
